About the Speaker
Alison McAllister
Alison is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and second-year doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision. She specializes in trauma, military families, attachment, and immigrant family experiences. Alison’s work integrates cognitive behavioral and person-centered approaches with trauma-informed practice. Her research interests include counselor identity development, supervision, and the ethical preparation of clinicians working with trauma. She is also trained in Gottman (levels 1 and 2), Brainspotting, TF-CBT/PSB-CY, and Cue-Centered Therapy.
