Anne Petraro
Anne Petraro, PhD, LMHC, is the Founder and CEO of Mending Hearts Counseling, an Article 31 OMH-licensed community mental-health clinic in Elmont, New York, and the author of Therapized. A trauma-informed leader and clinician, Anne specializes in ethical practice within complex systems of care. Her work integrates compliance, compassion, and cultural humility to foster sustainable healing environments for both clients and staff. She has extensive experience developing quality-assurance infrastructures, supervision models, and clinical ethics trainings for multidisciplinary teams. Anne is dedicated to advancing trauma-responsive leadership and empowering clinicians to practice with integrity, empathy, and purpose.
