Cheri Smith
Dr. Cheri Smith, Ph.D., NCC (she/her) is a Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling with over 30 years of experience in counselor education. A former CACREP site visitor and past president of both ASERVIC and the Alabama Counseling Association, she specializes in counseling ethics, identity development, and LGBTQ+ affirmative practice. Dr. Smith brings deep expertise in the ACA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making in counselor training.
