Amanda DiLorenzo-Garcia
PhD
Dr. DiLorenzo-Garcia (Dr. DG) is a Clinical Faculty member at Prescott College and a Clinical Supervisor at the Alachua County Crisis Center (CC). She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida. Dr. DGs passion for counseling and education stemmed out of her experience of working in Haiti with P4H Global. Dr. DG is the Clinical Supervisor at the Crisis Center where her clinical work focuses on crisis, trauma, and grief with individuals, couples, and families. Through this work, she mentors counselors and counseling students with the goal of preventing burnout for Crisis Center counselors and providing thoughtful care to their clients. Dr. DG is an advocate for social justice, mentorship of counseling students, and learning engagement for counselor education.
