About the Speaker
Gregg Elliott
PhD
Dr. Gregory M. Elliott is a faculty member in the School of Counseling at Colorado Christian University. He is a past president of the Colorado Counseling Association and a Past Chair of the American Counseling Association Western Region. Dr. Elliott has been a licensed professional counselor since 2004. His clinical experiences include directing a university counseling center, working in partial hospitalization and inpatient settings, and working with at-risk youth and families. His expertise is in working with suicidal clients. Over the years he has conducted almost 100 trainings and presentations on suicide topics for counselors and counseling students. Dr. Elliott also maintains a supervision practice for counselors obtaining their supervised hours for licensure.
