Honor Read, LPC, LCDC III, CRC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licenced Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor specializing in youth mental health, substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and equine-assisted services. She holds a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, and a MA in Law, Justice, and Culture at Ohio University. Honor serves as an Outpatient Therapist with Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center, providing community-based MH and SUD counseling, parenting classes, and crisis care. As founder of SET Wellness and Equestrian Group (Stargazey's Equine Therapy), she integrates evidence-based practices with equine-assisted services. She holds PATH Intl., EAGALA, and CHA certifications and is dedicated to ethical, trauma-responsive practice.
