Katie Brammer
PhD
Katie Brammer (PhD, LPC, RPT; She, Her, Hers) is a Counselor Educator, licensed professional counselor (LPC), and registered play therapist (RPT) with experience as a school counselor. Katie supports and facilitates dialogue about child suicide because she believes there needs to be more scholarly focus on this phenomenon in play therapy. Katies research and scholarship focus on youth suicide, experiences of 2SLGBTQIAP+ folx, and improving counselor education and culturally responsive care to meet the needs of youth and 2SLGBTQIAP+ folx in counseling and play therapy.
