About the Speaker
Michael Desposito, LPCC-S
MA
Michael is an LPCC-S in Ohio and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist with a masters from Bowling Green State University. He co-owns The Wellife, LLC in Canton, Ohio, and has over a decade of experience working with transitional youth, severe mental illness, dual diagnoses, emotion regulation, and LGBTQI+ populations. Michael has held leadership roles in state and national organizations for counseling, leadership, and suicide prevention. He currently serves as chair of the insurance advocacy committee for the Ohio Counseling Association and secretary of the Ohio Association for Counselors in Private Practice. He has delivered over 50 presentations, published on wellness and affirmative practice, and received multiple leadership awards.
