Lindsay Oberleitner
Lindsay Oberleitner, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist who serves as Head of Clinical Strategy at SimplePractice, an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, and maintains a small private practice. In her role at SimplePractice, she provides strategic leadership in clinical decision-making, research initiatives, clinician education related to technology, and advocacy for mental health providers, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate clinical expertise with business strategy and ensure evidence-based practices are embedded into clinical and administrative workflows. Lindsay’s strategic focus includes evolving clinical regulations, the integration of technology and artificial intelligence into clinical practice, and clinical quality considerations. She joined SimplePractice in 2022 as Education Director of SimplePractice Learning, where she led the development of high-impact continuing education programs designed to advance professional skills and knowledge through engaged learning. Previously, Lindsay served as full-time faculty at the Yale University School of Medicine and has conducted grant-funded research on mental health workforce development. Her professional experience spans the intersections of addiction, chronic health conditions, and the criminal justice system, with a continued emphasis on advancing interdisciplinary training and collaboration. She has developed and led training programs and seminars, published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles on chronic pain, addiction, and criminal justice, and trained mental health practitioners across licensure levels through graduate education and postdoctoral supervision.
