About the Speaker
Nainika Hira
Nainika Hira, MS, MA is a PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Penn State University. She has received the Best Student Award (for MS, Wright State University, 2024), the University Gold Medal (for MA Clinical Psychology, University of Delhi, 2022), Division on South Asian American Association's Student Research Award and the Wright State Dean’s High Impact Research Grant. She led the co-design and co-creation of Evolve’s Therapy Assist Tool with counselors, a digital mental health tool designed to enhance therapeutic alliance, currently in pilot testing with a therapist panel. Her research focuses on digital mental health, culturally responsive tools, and South Asian mental health.
