About the Speaker
Crystal Currie
Crystal earned her undergraduate BS degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She earned her MS in Counseling with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis from Walden University. She is a second-year Walden University student in the Counselor Education and Supervisor doctoral program. Licensed as a clinical mental health clinician, Crystal owns a group counseling agency in North Carolina. She is also certified as a trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapist and serves as a committee chair of Chi Sigma Iota. Through education and clinical work, Crystal is committed to helping address generational trauma to promote social change.
