About the Speaker

Guy Felder

Graduate Student

Guy Felder's journey to becoming a therapist is rooted in a lifelong commitment to helping others, whether through his early experiences in agriculture, his work in music, his contributions to education, or his focus on improving user experiences to enhance health outcomes. This commitment, combined with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston and his current work towards an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University, informs his unique perspective on the field.

Before transitioning to therapy, Guy spent over a decade as a successful UI/UX consultant, leading complex, multi-year engagements for large organizations in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, and the public sector. His work involved strategic advisory services, brand strategy, behavior change, and delivering solutions to complex problems, often within risk-averse and change-resistant environments.

Guy has a proven ability to build strong working alliances with his clients, manage expectations, and thrive in multi-work-stream environments. He is adept at interfacing between technology professionals, business leaders, and administrative teams to deliver solutions that align technology capabilities with human needs.
