About the Speaker
Kristiana Peric

Kristiana is a graduate student at the Family Institute at Northwestern University, where she is studying to become a counselor in the state of Illinois with a focus on holistic, client-centered care. Recognizing a gap in business education for future therapists, she founded the Business for Counselors interest group—an initiative designed to empower students with the knowledge and tools to launch and sustain successful private practices. Through this group, she facilitates meetings and conversations on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and other business practices within mental health. Her passion lies in learning how emerging therapists may maintain integrity while centering compassion and sustainability in both their practice and their business decisions.
