Nancy Bonn-Winkler is the sole owner of Grit and Grace Counseling Services, LLC.  She is a Licenced Professional Counselor and holds state certifications in Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, Elementary Education, Gifted Education, and Counseling.  

Nancy started her career as a special education teacher and soon moved into the field of school counseling.  She spent 32 years as a K-12 gifted program counselor.  In total she has 40 years experience in education and educational counseling, having served more than 10,000 students and their families.  

Nancy, upon retirement, opened up her private practice, Grit and Grace Counseling Services where she champions client's personal growth and development through self-awareness, education, and application.  Nancy's empathic and solution-based theraputic approach takes into consideration the needs of the client and embraces learning through self and other awareness, teaching how changing the way you think can change the way you feel and by championing clients on their journey to achieve identified goals. 

Nancy has spoken at the local and national levels in her areas of expertise and continues to speak with groups on various topics.  She is highly curious and continues her growth by reading, writing, and seeking out new learnng opportunities and experiences .

Nancy embraces a worklife balance by riding, hiking, running, or working out daily, spends time with family and friends, and travels as often as possible.
