Sebastian Saldarriaga Rodriguez

·      Sebastian Saldarriaga Rodriguez (he/him) is a Master of Arts student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University and a certified bilingual volunteer with the Crisis Text Line. Originally from Colombia, Sebastian is a proud Latino immigrant and member of the LGBTQIA+ community. His intersectional identity deeply informs his commitment to providing inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive mental health care. He is especially passionate about working with marginalized communities but believes in creating healing spaces for people from all backgrounds. Before pursuing counseling, Sebastian built a successful career in global brand marketing, which taught him the importance of empathy, communication, and storytelling—skills he now brings into his work as a counselor-in-training. His areas of clinical interest include anxiety, trauma, dissociation, identity exploration, relationship dynamics, and sexual wellness. Sebastian is a member of the American Counseling Association, including its Georgia branch and SAIGE Division, and is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia.
