About the Speaker
Bridget Asempapa
Associate Professor of Counselor Education
Bridget Asempapa is an Associate Professor of Counselor Education in West Chester University in Pennsylvania, and she is in her eighth year of teaching. With a dual degree in school counseling and clinical mental heath counseling, she has counseling work experiences that span through K-12 and college settings. She also has domestic and international teaching experiences at the elementary and middle school levels.
She is the co-author of three counseling books, a book chapter, 10 published articles, and a plethora of international, national, state and regional conference presentations. Her research interest is in wellness, school counselor trainee development, child and adolescent mental health issues, integrated care, and group counseling.
