Josselyn Ayala
Professional School Counselor
Josselyn Ayala is a Professional School Counselor at a middle school in Davenport, Iowa. Previously, she served as a school counselor at a high school in Augusta, Georgia. Josselyn earned her M.Ed. in school counseling from Campbell University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. student in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at Regent University. Her commitment to supporting both counselor and student well-being has enabled her to effectively address and navigate the unique challenges faced in Title I educational settings. These experiences have ignited a passion in Josselyn’s understanding of the impact of counselor burnout and the essential role of self-advocacy and self-care in sustaining professional effectiveness.
