Kristi Russell Mouttet is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Dr. Mouttet is an Assistant Professor at Messiah University and serves as the Marriage, Couple and Family Track Coordinator, and Chair of the Remediation Committee. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University. Dr. Mouttet has worked with university students in various capacities and as counselor, in a university counseling center, with children and families providing in-home family therapy, and in private practice. She has taught both face-to-face and online graduate courses since 2007 in CACREP accredited programs. Dr. Mouttet’s clinical experience has included: premarital, marital, family, women's issues, children and adolescents. Research interests include: forgiveness, counselor education and supervision, and practitioner wellness. Dr. Mouttet is married with three children.
