Dr. Radha Horton-Parker, Ph.d., NCC, NCSC

Associate Professor, Old Dominion University

Radha Horton-Parker, Ph.D., NCC, NCSC, is an associate professor of counseling and human services at Old Dominion University. She has 38 years of teaching experience in which she has trained many school counselors and mental health practitioners, and she has presented numerous conference programs on social advocacy for marginalized groups, as well as a variety of workshops related to school counseling. She is currently serving on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Humanistic Counseling and the Adultspan Journal, and she previously served on the editorial review board of Elementary School Guidance and Counseling. In addition, she was a former editor of the Virginia Counselors Journal and is a past president of the Association for Adult Development and Aging.
