About the Speaker
Regan Sarten
Full Time Faculty
Regan Sarten, Ph.D., CSC, LPC is a professor at Lubbock Christian University and coordinator of their graduate school counseling program. She has experience in many settings, including inpatient adolescent drug rehabilitation, sexual offender treatment, and school counseling. In her previous career as a school counselor, she worked with middle and high school students and is now passionate about educating future school counselors. Her research interests are increased mental health issues in students, the effectiveness of school counselors and LPCs on school campuses, special populations in schools, COVID’s impact on education, and the effects of technology on family relationships.
