Shanda James, MEd, LPC-S, NCC, NCSC, BC-TMH is an experienced high school counselor with extensive training in counseling and a strong background in the mental health field, specializing in promoting social-emotional learning among adolescents. She is pursuing a doctorate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, Louisiana and is conducting her research on the impact of social media on youth, which integrates evidence-based practices into her study. Her expertise includes an in-dept understanding of the unique challenges adolescents face in the digital age. Additionally, Shanda's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for students makes her well-equipped to address the complexities of navigating social media in today’s world.
