Sharon Todd
Assistant Professor of Counseling
Liberty University
Dr. Sharon Todd is a full-time core faculty member at Liberty University. She is a certified school counselor, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (Kentucky), board-approved supervisor (Kentucky), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy (CT/RTC) and is in the final phase of obtaining certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She has nearly 16 years of experience as a counselor, ranging from the public school setting, where she was a school counselor and district mental health counselor, to the private practice sector where she specializes in working with children and adolescents. Her areas of focus include play therapy, trauma, human trafficking, religious and spiritually integrated practices, as well as utilizing creativity when teaching adult learners. She is also a published author. Dr. Todd considers herself to be a lifelong learner and is grateful for the opportunity to support others in the classroom and clinical setting.
