Dr. Howard is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fort Valley State University. Dr. Howard is a scholar-practitioner who specializes in child and adolescent counseling, clinical supervision, and play therapy. Her research interests include development of ecosystemic treatment protocols and interventions for families and individuals impacted by substance use, childhood trauma stemming from abuse and neglect, integrative counseling approaches for the treatment of ADHD, and inter-generational trauma.
