Dr. Felicia L. Mirghassemi is a counselor educator and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. Dr. Mirghassemi first joined the field of counselor education as a training clinic director after years of experience within community agency settings. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counselor Education where she teaches and supervises both master’s and doctoral-level courses. She is passionate about reducing the accessibility gap for mental health care by improving the sustainability of the counseling profession through scholarship, advocacy, teaching, and supervisory efforts.
