Dr. Kisha Norman is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina and Virginia, and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). She holds the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and Qualified Supervisor (QS) credentials and is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH). Dr. Norman earned her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and has experience as a clinical supervisor, counselor educator, and private practice owner serving rural and underserved communities. Her research focuses on the career decision-making experiences of rural BIPOC CES doctoral students, emphasizing identity development, systemic barriers, and ethical supervision. Through her work in academia and clinical practice, Dr. Norman advocates for culturally responsive and equity-centered approaches to counselor development and supervision. She is also a presenter and educator across academic and professional settings.
