Maria Giuliana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and Dare to Lead™-trained professional with over 20 years of expertise in military and veteran mental health as well as LGBTQIA+ and transgender-affirming care. 

As founder of Beyond the Matter Counseling & Consulting Services and Auravita EDU, Maria delivers evidence-based therapy, trauma-resolution intensives, and Florida Board–approved CE courses. She is certified as a Clinical Trauma Practitioner and in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) Protocol.

Maria serves as President-Elect of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association and is completing her PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision at National Louis University. Her dissertation—Exploring the Relationship Between Counselor Expertise and Self-Reported Military Cultural Competency—underscores her commitment to integrating clinical rigor with authentic, culturally responsive care.
