Mary Ann Rocha, PhD, LPC-S, CRC is an assistant professor of counseling at Our Lady of the Lake University.  She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Texas Board approved LPC Supervisor.  Dr. Rocha was raised in the Rio Grande Valley where she started her career in higher education more than 7 years ago and has worked as a bilingual bicultural clinician for both private practice and nonprofit organizations for more than 20 years.
•Dr. Rocha earned a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, a Master of Arts in Education in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (Formally University of Texas Pan American), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas San Antonio. 
•Her professional and research interests include counselor preparation, disability advocacy, and bicultural counseling & supervision.
