About the Speaker
Patrice Bennett
Dr. Patrice Bennett is one of the Counseling Online Full Time Core Faculty members at Grand Canyon University (GCU) and she is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She also holds professional School Counseling Certifications in the state of Georgia and Arizona. She has had the opportunity to impact the education, counseling, and mental and behavior health fields (in supervisory/regional director roles) for over sixteen years. Dr. Bennett holds an Ed.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision - National Louis University; an Ed.S. in Instructional, Curriculum, & Professional Development - Walden University; a M.A. in School Counseling - Argosy University (CACREP: Sarasota, Florida); and a B.S. in Psychology - Piedmont College.
She is a native of Georgia. She is family-oriented and enjoys making memories through family nights (game, movie, open discussions), traveling, and cooking with her loving husband and children
