Sam Simon, Ph.D., LCMHC-QS, NCC (she/they) is the Business Services Manager for the Department of Economic and Social Advancement for the City of Raleigh, NC, where she does macro-level advocacy work. She has experience with being a Clinic Director in outpatient settings, and a clinician in hospital, outpatient, and college counseling settings. Clinically she works with LGBTQ+ folks, specifically those identifying with gender expansive identities. She is a qualified supervisor for NC, and a Counselor Educator, supervising all developmental levels of counselor trainees and new clinicians. Their research interests include developmental supervision, wellness for entry-level professionals, and clinical advocacy.
