Tina Marie Glover, PhD

Dr. Tina Marie Glover earned her Counselor Education and Supervision doctorate from Oregon State University. Dr. Glover is a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and holds both State and National certifications as an Addictions Counselor. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in several states. Throughout her career, Dr. Glover is a respected community leader and has held various leadership roles aimed at advancing the counseling profession. With over two decades of experience in the human services field, Dr. Glover has worked extensively with adolescent and adult gang members, facilitated domestic violence intervention and prevention programs, assisted victims of sex trafficking, and collaborated with communities of color to address race-based trauma, as well as generational and intergenerational trauma. She has more than ten years of experience in multicultural and social justice training and is a sought-after speaker and trainer on these topics. Dr. Glover also integrates mindfulness therapy into her practice, believing that it can enhance emotional regulation and promote overall well-being. As a published author and editor, she contributes to the body of knowledge in her field, emphasizing the importance of integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into her work. She believes that this approach enhances her effectiveness in addressing the prevention, intervention, and stabilization of mental health and addiction issues.
