Tom Alexander is a Licensed Professional Counsellor with a master's degree in counselling from Arkansas State University and a doctoral degree in psychology from Capella University. His doctoral degree specializes in addiction psychology and he has over 18 years of experience in the field of co-occurring substance use and mental health treatment and research. Dr. Alexander is a published scholar with publications related to integrated trauma and addiction treatment and co-occurring disorders. As a licensed professional counsellor in Texas and Colorado, Dr. Alexander specializes in treating persons who are in need of trauma-based treatment interventions. He is a passionate clinician, educator, and lifelong learner.
