Dr. Jil Husis a native of Northwest Indiana. She holds licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan. She is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and a board-certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). In addition to her academic role, Dr. Hus operates an all-telehealth private practice, where she provides individual, couples, and family therapy. As a member of the LGBTGEQIAP+ community, she is dedicated to fostering healing and growth through a humanistic lens and through her commitment to academic leadership. Her unique blend of clinical expertise and academic engagement allows her to contribute meaningfully to both individual well-being and the broader field of mental health.
