About the Speaker
Cindy Boyle
PhD Candidate/Clinical Director
University of Montana/Boyle Counseling & Consulting
Cindy's primary identity for the last 15+ years is that of "clinical mental health counselor", although like many professional counselors she is also a supervisor and instructor. Cindy is licensed in 4 states and believes professional associations play a vital role in upholding our counselor identity, serving practicing counselors and by extension, their clients. Service is also an important value for Cindy and she has served as the president of two different state counseling associations, served on various professional boards and continues to mentor new counselors. She is passionate about finding ways to make counseling accessible to ALL people and this has informed her areas of research and work with rural populations, LGBT+ clients and neurodivergent and disabled clients.
