Daniel Balva, Ph.D., LMHC, NCC, CRC is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, as well as a National Certified Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. He serves as a Staff Psychologist in the Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences Clinic at the VA West Palm Beach Medical Center. Dr. Balva earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from Florida International University. A Past-President of the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association (ARCA), Dr. Balva is deeply committed to disability education, global mental health, and capacity building, which guide his research, clinical work, and leadership roles in professional organizations.
